Foot Patrolling and Monitoring of forest cover within Sectors 1, 2 and 3 of PCWFR was done and encountered no illegal activities. Identified tress in the areas monitored was dominated by Benguet Pine, Molave and Narra in Brgy. Abuyo and Palosapis in Mt. Pisil of Brgy. Conversion. Presence of Balong-Eta, Lanete, White Lauan and Panau were also identified while Accacia in Barangay Salazar was the only forest tree spotted because the area was a Reforestation Project established by NIA and declared as forest. Status of every observed forest is moderate to dense early secondary forest and with open, uncultivated area. Typhoon related threat was observed because some forest trees were uprooted due to strong winds and heavy rains from the past months. There were no detected indicator species in every area but traces of Northern Rufous Hornbill was observed in So. Balukok, Brgy. Conversion, Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija.
