NPC holds briefing for new alternate National Power Board Members
The National Power Corporation led by its President and CEO Pio J. Benavidez on Thursday has conducted a briefing for the incoming new alternate members of the National Power Board – Usec. Sherwin S. Rigor of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Director Carmencita P. Mahinay and Director Rowena Candice M. Ruiz of the Department of Budget Management.

The National Power Corporation (NPC) remains a government-owned and -controlled corporation mandated to perform missionary electrification or powering the farthest islands in the archipelago thru its Small Power Utilities Group (SPUG); watershed and dams management in support of power generation; and operations and maintenance of the Agus and Pulangi Hydropower Complexes in Mindanao. It is an attached agency of the Department of Energy (DOE).
