NPC grants 24/7 power to an island in Samar
Before the end of 2018, NPC has launched the 24/7 power supply for some 800 households of Sto. Niño in Samar on December 20, 2018.
It has also been the request of Mayor Lilia Conejos that the launch happen before Christmas, so the residents can fully utilize the electricity during the holidays.
Currently, NPC’s Sto. Niño Diesel Power Plant has a dependable capacity of 140 kW and peak demand of 125 kW. It is the 24th power plant that has been granted an increase in operating hours for the year 2018.
