With the theme, โ€œBuilding Foundations Through Strong Partnerships: Key to Procurement Efficiencyโ€, the National Power Corporation (NPC) successfully conducted the 2024 Suppliers/Contractors Forum on 12 April 2024 at the NPC Fiesta Hall in Diliman, Quezon City.

President & CEO Fernando Martin Y. Roxas and OIC Vice President Lorlina E. Bomediano of Administration and Finance welcomed 43 suppliers and contractors who physically attended the event as well as 24 virtual attendees. Chairmen and members of decentralized Bids and Awards Committees (BACs) of Small Power Utilities Group (SPUG) Luzon, Visayas & Mindanao, as well as the local BAC of Mindanao Generation (MINGEN), attended the forum virtually.

Speakers from the Bids and Contracts Services Division (BCSD) and Materials Supplies Services & Procurement Division (MSSPD) provided updates on government procurement process under the framework of Republic Act 9184 and corporate policies and reminders in Purchase Order/Contract processing.

An open forum followed which encouraged active discussion and participation and paved the way to resolve queries and issues raised.

BAC Chair Atty. Melchor P. Ridulme wrapped up the ceremony, thanking everyone for their attendance and emphasizing the importance of upholding transparency, accountability, and fairness in the conduct of BACโ€™s business.
