Champion in Women's Division

NPC’s inter-color bowling tournament concludes, winners recognized

NPC concludes its bowling tournament recently and awards the medals to the winners on Monday, June 10 during the Flag Raising Rites.

For the men’s division, emerging 2nd runner up is Team Jun composing of Alfredo Candelaria III, Alfredo Birao, Francis Agustin Flores, John Anthony Quinto, Noel Yatco and Raymond Serrano. The first runner up is Team Mon A whose members include Ramon Araja Jr, Alexander Lunaria, Carlos Sayson, Francis Joseph Veluz, Gregorio Poveda and William Novero. The champions in the men’s division is Team Mon B consisting of Felimon Barrion, Dante Balagat, Dennis Capiral, Rey Reuben Villanueva, Rogel Teves and Serafin Marcaida Jr.

The highest single score was earned by Raul del Mundo with 210 pinfalls while the highest double and highest average were both earned by Ramon Araja, Jr.

For the women’s division, Team Juday gets the 2nd runner up and they are Deodora dela Cruz, Maria Corazon Bencio, Maria Lourdez Sevilla, Mellany Matias, Rejoyce Estigoy and Roycechelle Enriquez. The first runner up was snatched by Team Bing, composing of Biverly Estella, Claren Andrea Robles, Donnalyn Lavilla, Guia Fatima Barreto, Jennisel Brillantes and Jiela Mae Colendara. Team Aloth is the champion for the women’s division and the team includes Ma. Lourdes Rentino, Almira Godoy, Ameri Joy Oñante, Kristine Lacatan, Lorna Redoña and Melrose Fronda.

The highest single score and highest double were both awarded to Louwella Cid while the highest average was earned by Bella Ablan.

The bowling tournament is part of the Physical Fitness, Sports and Recreation program of NPC that aims to promote wellness and productivity through sports. It was held twice a week at 5:30 pm onwards at SM Bowling Center in North Avenue in Quezon City.
