NPC strengthens risk management capability
NPC in cooperation with Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) and the Malayan Insurance Company conducted a Risk Management and Loss Prevention Seminar in two batches in Manila and the Visayas.
The seminar intends to integrate the different disciplines involved in insurance to help NPC in developing and refining its risk management and disaster recovery systems. It also discussed information on the requirements and procedures in case of loss/claim, and guidelines in the movement of power barges, and other basic insurance policy provisions.
Conducted free-of-charge by the Malayan Insurance, the seminar was attended by select employees from the Administration and Finance Group, Small Power Utilities Group, Power Engineering Services and Mindanao Generation.
