NPC LFI’s Fifth Meeting: Classroom Project for Marawi

On June 27, the NPC Ladies Foundation Inc. held its fifth meeting to evaluate its past programs such as the Seminar on the ABCs of Money Management & Blood Letting Drive and to plan its upcoming projects including the donation of a classroom for the school children of Marawi.

The Foundation discussed the classroom to be donated to the Amai Pakpak Central Elementary School in Marawi. Showing the classroom’s architectural perspective, it was emphasized that the plan is compliant with the requirements of the Department of Education and follows weather resiliency specifications.

Other agenda included another fundraising activity, review of the 2018 Implementation Plan and matters relating to the increasing of membership, finances and arranging of directory.

For the first time, the Ladies from SPUG Visayas attended the meeting, completing the representatives from NPC’s field offices from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

“We thank and praise GOD as NPC LFI grows from strength to strength and the spirit of volunteerism and service burn even more brightly in our hearts,” said LFI President Ambassador Virginia H. Benavidez.

The Ladies also celebrated the birthday of member-celebrants, Ms. Loida Leona and Ms. Ana Bathan.
