NPC LFI gives love to children with the Big C
To spread the Christmas cheer and love, the NPC Ladies Foundation, Inc. on Thursday, December 19 holds a gift giving and blood letting program for children who battle with cancer.
Coming from Las Piñas, Quezon City, Laguna and Cavite, 30 cancer patients received in-kind and monetary gifts from the ladies and the National Power Corporation employees.
LFI President, Ambassador Virginia H. Benavidez emphasized that the gift-giving was held to honor Jesus Christ alone who is the reason for the season.
The Foundation also treated the children with delicious meals and conducted a blood letting activity for them, as some kids with leukemia need regular blood transfusion.
