NPC’s In-House MBA students plant 700 seedlings in Caliraya-Lumot Watershed
Some 50 in-house MBA students of NPC have planted 700 seedlings of mahogany in the Caliraya-Lumot Watershed Reservation in Laguna as their contribution to the rehabilitation program of the Corporation and in culmination of their first semester.
NPC manages the Caliraya-Lumot Watershed as the reservation supports power generating plants in the area such as the Caliraya, Botocan and Kalayaan Power Plants.

The National Power Corporation (NPC) remains a government-owned and -controlled corporation mandated to perform missionary electrification or powering the farthest islands in the archipelago thru its Small Power Utilities Group (SPUG); watershed and dams management in support of power generation; and operations and maintenance of the Agus and Pulangi Hydropower Complexes in Mindanao. It is an attached agency of the Department of Energy (DOE).
