NPC’s Public Hearings for SAGR continues
NPC’s Revenue Management Department continue to organize public hearings on various Philippine locations for the ERC hearings of its new proposed Subsidized Approved Generation Rate or SAGR.
Public Hearings are held in order to inform the public and the electric cooperatives on the proposed new rates, the power expenses it will cover and its impact.
For the month of May, there were hearings in Aurora Electric Cooperative, Inc. in Baler; Palawan Electric Cooperative, Inc. in Puerto Princesa; Busuanga Island Electric Cooperative, Inc. in Palawan; Biliran Electric Cooperative, Inc. in Naval, Biliran; Southern Leyte Electric Cooperative, Inc., in Maasin City, Southern Leyte; Iloilo 3 Electric Cooperative, Inc., in Sara, Iloilo; Guimaras Electric Cooperative, Inc., in Jordan, Guimaras and in Marinduque Electric Cooperative, Inc. in Boac, Marinduque.
