QC grants 407 covid shots to NPC employees
The Quezon City local government on Monday, June 7 has conducted vaccinations for National Power Corporation employees falling under the A2 (senior citizens) and A3 (persons with comorbidities) categories.
The said first batch of the vaccination program inoculated around 407 individuals at NPC’s Platinum Hall in its Diliman office.
NPC President and CEO Pio J. Benavidez, who overlooked the administration of the vaccines to the employees, extends his gratitude to Mayor Joy Belmonte and her team for giving such an opportunity for the employees.
“We are grateful for the local government’s generosity as it accommodated not only QC residents but also individuals working within the city,” said President Benavidez.
NPC said that while it is still in the process of procuring its own vaccines for its employees nationwide, QC's accommodation is a huge help in preventing covid breakout in its head office.
