NPC’s Angat Watershed Area Team and representatives of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) have released various wildlife in Angat Watershed in Bulacan to increase species diversity in the said reservation.

The team released thirteen heads Asian box turtle (Coura amboinensis), five (5) heads Crested serpent eagle (Spilornis cheela), and five (5) heads marbled water monitor lizard (Varanus marmoratus).

The Angat Watershed is one of the healthiest watersheds in the country and is managed by NPC through Presidential Proclamation No. 71, s. 1927, Executive Order No. 33 and Proclamation No. 505, s. 1965.
