The National Power Corporation has recently conducted a two-day refresher training on Republic Act 9184 (Procurement Law) for the members of its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) and technical working groups for various procurement activities.

Speakers Atty. Mikko Paulo O. Alibin of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Atty. Allan Dexter P. Macaraig of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) and Atty. Rowena Candice M. Ruiz of the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB) shared their knowledge and expertise on RA 9184, the latest GPPB issuances, and relevant updates on procurement.

It was a fruitful learning experience for all as the participants were also given opportunities to raise questions and seek advice on particular scenarios from the training providers.

The training program is part of NPCโ€™s commitment to upholding transparency, competitiveness, and accountability in the conduct of its business.
