In the spirit of the season, NPCโs Small Power Utilities Group spread Christmas cheers to the children of an orphanage in Rizal managed by Sr. Suzette Tumlos of the Divine Savior Foundation and overseen by the Religious Missionaries of the Infant Jesus.
The SPUG team, led by Vice President Rene B. Barruela, delighted the children with games, songs, and dances, and presented them with gifts and essential supplies including rice, groceries and hygiene kits. SPUG personnel also pooled funds from their pockets and were able to hand over a generous donation.
VP Rene extended his warm greetings to the children and his hopeful wishes for their future. According to the participants, the outreach program has reaffirmed that true fulfillment is found not in receiving but in the immeasurable joy of giving.
