NPC recently gathered electric cooperatives in HES Auditorium in National Electrification Administration’s (NEA) building for its annual Customers’ Conference which carries the corporation’s anniversary theme, ‘Bringing the light of progress to the islands.’
The NPC team led by Vice President for Corporate Affairs Urbano C. Mendiola discussed the 2017 and 2018 tariff applications, the NPC Plans and Programs for new areas, operations in the corporation’s Small Power Utilities Group (SPUG) facilities, updates on current NPC projects, private sector participation, and the cooperative’s collection efficiency.
The conference also became an avenue for the coops to raise their concerns and issues about NPC’s operations which the managers addressed graciously. Representatives from the Department of Energy and NEA were also present during the event.
