NPC opens forest nursery in San Roque Watershed
NPC’s Waterhsed Management Department on Friday, March 2 launched and opened the San Roque Watershed’s Central Forest Nursery in Pangasinan that will serve as nesting area for high quality seedlings for the corporation’s watershed rehabilitation programs. The nursery has eight (8) chambers which can house 10,000 seedlings each.
The event was graced by WMD team led by Mr. Emmanuel Umali, the San Roque Watershed Area Team led by Mr. Mendel S. Garcia, Corporate Communications Manager Ms. Maria Ellinore Danganan and watershed stakeholders in the area.
