NPC Conducts Seminar-Workshop on Freedom of Information Platform

NPC on Friday, June 16 organized a seminar-workshop on the Freedom of Information platform for its selected officials to equip them with skills on the process, system and technical operation of the eFOI portal.

The engaging seminar-workshop was conducted by Atty. Kristian R. Ablan from the Policy and Legislative Affairs of the Presidential Communications Operations Office where he also handles the Malacanang Social Media Accreditation Policy and the Presidential Task Force for Media Security among others.

The Freedom of Information is a government mechanism for transparency and full public disclosure of information. The FOI mechanism for the Executive Branch and the agencies under it is enabled through Executive Order No. 2, series of 2016.
