NPC grants 24/7 power to Almagro town in Western Samar
NPC on Tuesday, September 18 holds a ceremonial switch on for the launch of round the clock power supply in its Almagro Diesel Power Plant in Western Samar. The 24/7 power is expected to help improve the lives of the island’s residents who mostly thrive in fishing.
The ceremony was led by Mayor Kathleen Prudenciado and NPC’s Vice President for Small Power Utilities Group (SPUG) Atty. Rogel T. Teves. Local officials and representatives from stakeholders were also present during the event.
