NPC gives round the clock power service to Tagapul-an town in Samar

NPC on Tuesday, October 9 grants 24/7 power to almost a thousand households being serviced by its Tagapul-an Diesel Power Plant in Samar.

The move was in pursuit of NPC’s goal of granting round the clock power service to all its 275 Small Power Utilities Group (SPUG) power plants in the country by 2020.

The ceremonial switch-on for the launch was led by NPC’s SPUG Visayas Operations Department headed by OIC Mr. Timoteo T. Diacor and local officials led by Mayor Vicente M. Limpiado, Jr. Representatives of Western Samar Governor Sharee Ann Tan- delos Santos, Congressman Edgar Mary S. Sarmiento and Samar Electric Cooperative, Inc. I Board Members also witnessed the event.
