NPC retiree conferred with the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award

Mr. Palawan A. Lomondaya, a retired employee and a dedicated plant manager of the Agus 1 and 2 Hydroelectric Power Plant has been recently conferred with the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award in Malacañang.

The Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award is awarded to individuals or groups for exceptional or extraordinary contributions resulting from an idea or performance that had nationwide impact on public interest, security and patrimony.

For Individual Category – Mr. Palawan A. Lomondaya  was recognized ‘for his exceptional dedication for the operation and maintenance of the Agus 1 HEP Complex amidst security threats during the Marawi siege, thereby preventing power outage and ensuring consistent power supply in Mindanao.’
