NPC opens power plant in Pandami, Sulu
In pursuit of its goal of reaching every household in the off-grid islands, NPC on October 24 holds the inauguration of Pandami Diesel Power Plant in Sulu.
The event was led by Pandami Mayor Intan S. Berto and NPC SPUG’s Western Mindanao Operations Division headed by Mr. Yahcob H. Darayan.
Mayor Berto expressed his gratitude to NPC for the completion of the project which had been on and off for long years.
Pandami is a fourth class municipality in Sulu which has a potential household of 2, 300. Its major source of livelihood is fishing and farming.
