NPC’s WMD Chief among 41 professionals recognized by PRC

NPC’s Watershed Management Department Manager, Mr. Emmanuel Umali has been recognized as one of the 2019 Outstanding Professionals by the Professional Regulatory Commission as the Commission celebrated its 46th Anniversary on June 20 at the Manila Hotel.

Mr. Umali, who was awarded as outstanding professional in the field of forestry, was recognized for his contribution in sustainable environmental management and biodiversity protection. As seasoned forester and career executive, he has been ensuring that NPC’s approximately 500,000 hectares of watershed reservation is protected, preserved and nourished in order to support power generation, irrigation, and domestic water use.
