NPC lights up Calaguas Island in Camarines Norte
NPC on November 15 inaugurates its new power facility in Calaguas Island, Vinzons, Camarines Norte to serve 697 households in the area.
The opening and inauguration of Calaguas Diesel Power Plant was attended by local officials led by Rep. Marisol Panotes, Vinzons Mayor Eleanor Segundo and the barangay captains of the three beneficiary barangays namely Banocboc, Pinagtigasan and Mangcawayan.
The project is part of NPCs objective of reaching and electrifying all off-grid areas in the country.
