NPC commences ERC hearings for its proposed new subsidy for missionary electrification

NPC through its Revenue Management Department commences its 35 scheduled hearings before the Energy Regulatory Commission in various parts of the country for its proposed new rate for the Subsidized Approved Generation Rate (SAGR) for missionary electrification.

The first hearing was held in QUEZELCO II Main Office in Brgy. Gumian, Infanta, Quezon on February 21. It was attended by ERC representatives headed by Atty. Aleli Guinto, the local government unit led by Burdeos Vice Mayor Obren Tan and Polilio Vice Mayor Loel Santoalla, Quezelco Board of Directors, Members and employees headed by GM Victor Cada and Quezon consumers.
