NPC organizes a Suppliers-Contractors Forum to enhance its efficient service delivery
NPC on Friday, September 7, has conducted a Suppliers-Contractors forum in its head office in Quezon City for some 80 companies who were joining and are keen to join its public bidding for various projects.
The forum, which discussed the improvement measures in the bidding process, aims to enhance its efficient service delivery to the areas it serves in the country.
NPC President and CEO Pio J. Benavidez also addressed the participants emphasizing the importance of following the procurement process.
“We follow fairness and transparency of process. Always ask questions if you are unsure of anything,” he said.
Likewise, the forum tackled the requirements for submission during bid opening and post qualification; and procurement opportunities for CY 2019.
The forum is also in compliance with the requirement of the Government Procurement Policy Board to hold annual updates and reminder for suppliers and contractors.
