NPC Ladies Foundation, Inc. convene with Mrs. Benavidez

The NPC Ladies Foundation, Inc. has recently convened with its new chairman and wife of President Pio J. Benavidez, Mrs. Virginia H. Benavidez. Mrs. Benavidez led the setting of a new direction for the Foundation in order to add more value to its civic projects and outreach programs which will consequently produce lasting difference in the lives of its beneficiaries.

To start off, the Board of the Foundation signed the release of P50,000 pesos for the NPC’s CSR programs for Marawi City’s internally displaced persons taking refuge in various evacuation centers in Lanao.

Among the topics covered by the Foundation’s first meeting were expansion of membership, priority projects for NPC’s direct customers and stakeholders, fund raising activities, and submission of reports to the Securities and Exchange Commission and Bureau of Internal Revenue.

Mrs. Benavidez, a former Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam and New Zealand, has likewise made sure that the Foundation’s direction is consistent with the mandates of NPC and thrusts of President Rodrigo Duterte.
