
The SPUG Island Grid Reporting Information Dashboard (iGRID) was launched on 10 December 2024, after its successful presentation during the Management Committee Meeting.
SPUG Vice President, Engr. Rene B. Barruela spearheaded the project to create a comprehensive dashboard application that would simplify data reporting, have a user-friendly interface, and provide real-time updates, developed under the strategic direction of NPC President and CEO Dr. Fernando Martin Y. Roxas.
iGRID offers unparalleled convenience as it’s accessible on both laptops and mobile devices, making it a versatile and portable tool for SPUG personnel. The integration of data from a variety of existing systems, including FOCIR, MOR, DORS, and other plant statistics, create a unified and easy-to-navigate dashboard. Through this, it enhances efficiency, ensuring that authorized SPUG personnel can quickly access up-to-date reports with minimal effort.
This marks a significant advancement towards NPC’s aspirational journey toward digital transformation. This cutting edge online platform is set to revolutionize how SPUG-related data is collected, tracked, reported, and disseminated. By overcoming the limitations of traditional data acquisition and reporting methods, iGRID introduces a more streamlined, intuitive, and user-friendly solution for managing vital information.
The program’s completion signals a major step forward in improving SPUG power plant operations and guarantees a more effective service provision.
