NPC HO conducts fire and earthquake drills on Fire Prevention Month

To refresh the employees’ readiness in times of disaster, a fire and earthquake drill was held on Friday at the NPC head office in Diliman, Quezon City.

The drill was led by NPC’s Contingency Response Team headed by Ms. Eloida C. Leona. The Bureau of Fire Protection and the Safety Organization of the Philippines have also joined the drill and made observations for possible improvement and/or best practices.

By virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 115-A, the month of March was declared as Fire Prevention Month because of the alarming increase of fire incidents happening across the country during this particular period.
